Hello P6a

We hope that you are keeping well and that you managed to enjoy the Easter break.

We are still thinking of you all and miss the day to day contact with you – strange times to get used to!

Well done to everyone who is doing their best to work at home, covering some or even all of the tasks we set.  We know it is tricky sometimes to find a workspace, or somewhere quiet, or even to get onto a device to complete work, if there are several people in your house wanting to use it at the same time.  Sometimes having a routine (a flexible one) is a good thing… we are all creatures of habit at heart!  If you are doing other “home work”, that is okay too – you have to do what’s best for you and your family.

Quote for the week – “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough”.

Stay safe, stay healthy!

Best wishes from Mrs James + Miss Maxwell

Hello again P6b folks!

I hope that you all enjoyed a very chocolatey Easter? Just when you thought it was all over….NO!!

The Easter Bunny made an early delivery to our school way before the Covid19 bug interrupted our learning. So P6, you each have a small egg in school still to be eaten.

Of course, if you don’t want your egg then teachers will be most delighted to eat them for you 😊

Keep up with your home learning and do try and share it with us on twitter if you can. A photo or video would be great!

Stay safe, stay healthy

Best wishes from,

Mrs McKay + Mrs Santhanam

P.S. You can follow the school on Twitter too, so keep in touch

Week beginning 30th March

Hello Primary 6,

We hope that you are all ok at home?

We just wanted to send a message to wish you all well as we didn’t get the chance to see everyone before the schools were closed ☹

It’s been a tricky time for us all and we just wanted you to know that we appreciate the work you are doing at home. We know that it isn’t an easy time so please take it at your own pace, don’t stress about anything and just settle into our new way of life.

We will post learning activities each week so please make use of them, if you can. Use your jotters to record any tasks and remember to login to Sumdog and Read Theory for online set tasks. We are trying hard to make the learning interesting for you, so please do your best for us.

Stay safe, stay healthy

Best wishes from,

Mrs James + Miss Maxwell
